Shots fired as gunman barricades themself in Farmington Hills, police say

(CBS DETROIT) —  A gunman has barricaded themself in the area of 14 Mile Road and Middlebelt Road, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say shots have been fired, but it’s unknown who fired the shots. 
Officers with Farmington Hills police and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team were “engaged” in the area Saturday night and asked people to stay away.
